Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls

Another student work favorite, this poster attempts to capture the energy and spirit of the DIY rock camp through the recreation of manual, low-fi image editing and production techniques.

The Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, that builds girls’ self-esteem through music creation and performance. I created a poster inspired by the idea that the camp would actually encourage girls to raise—not lower—their voices. I edited a full color stock photo to give the image a DIY look and feel, staying true to the camp's punk and low-budget roots, and to pair with the pre-existing logo.
